 John Penfold, son of Cleyo and Phyllis Penfold, is a native of Northern Michigan who grew up on Chandler Hill and graduated from Petoskey High School. His advanced education includes a BSME (1985) and an MSME (1988) from Michigan Technological University. He is SFI Certified (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) and has been a buyer of standing timber since 2004.
Area of Coverage: All of northern lower Michigan including Emmet County, Charlevoix County, Antrim County, Otsego County, Kalkaska County, Cheboygan County and Grand Traverse County.
John enjoys helping land owners with forest management plans and Select Cuts & Logging using sustainable forestry principles.
