Paradise Canyon Ranch (PCR) is located just outside the small town of Zaragoza, Mexico. The ranch is 12,000 acres, with the sole hunting rights of the two adjoining ranches ( El Capitan & El Pajaro). This gives us a total area of over 50 square miles for exclusive pleasure. PCR has had no cattle on it for over five years, allowing fantastic brush coverage on the ranch. The other ranches run low numbers of cow (usually around three hundred total), so interaction with the cow herd is minimal. Numerous food plots cover all the ranches, with a couple being irrigated. A year-round flowing river (San Rodrigo) travels over five miles through the property, providing life to all the ranch’s wildlife. Power is brought in by late-model generators along with a 5500-watt solar power system. Transportation on the ranches is varied with an abundance of 4-wheelers, RTVs, high rack trucks, and even—the cowboy’s favorite—horses. There is such a wide range of adventures to enjoy, you can flat wear yourself out. During the summer, the river is a beautiful turquoise blue and perfectly clear, making a very inviting swimming hole. With hundreds of unexplored caves to check out and Indian artifacts to find, you will never be able to stay long enough to see it all. Throw in lions, javies and bears along with deer, cats, and yotes, and you will think you’re in Disneyland.
